HCSF Navigator Employment Opportunity

The Health Council of South Florida (HCSF) is looking for an individual to join our team as an HCSF Navigator!


HCSF Navigator – Summary of Work:

The HCSF Navigator is responsible for providing information, application/enrollment assistance to individuals and families seeking health care coverage through the Federally Facilitated Health Insurance Marketplace. In addition, this position is responsible for conducting public education activities designed to raise awareness about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Health Insurance Marketplace, and recruit eligible customers to obtain health insurance coverage through the Marketplace.


The candidate must have a High School Diploma, with at least four years of experience in community relations or human services and/or Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in social service enrollment or human services. Work experience must include direct customer contact.


Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Providing information and enrollment assistance to consumers seeking coverage in the Health Insurance Marketplace, conducting public education activities, in conjunction with community partners, to raise awareness about the Health Insurance Marketplace, recruiting eligible consumers to review their options in the Marketplace.


In addition, this position is responsible for conducting public education activities designed to raise awareness about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Health Insurance Marketplace, and recruit eligible customers to obtain health insurance coverage through the Marketplace from the Homestead in Miami-Dade County to Islamorda area of Monroe County.
